The team at B. Reformer Pilates in Cheltenham would like to extend a warm Congratulations on your pregnancy! We are here to support you every step of the way on this special and exciting journey.

Why Pilates?

Pilates during pregnancy offers numerous benefits, helping you prepare for childbirth as well as assisting in postpartum recovery. At B. Reformer, we warmly welcome expectant mothers to discover the benefits of Pilates, which is why we offer classes especially tailored to prenatal needs. 

Regular Pilates practice during the prenatal stage can help to reduce the risk of gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia, alleviate any back and pelvic pain, as well as improve your mood. It’s also known to promote heart health, better sleep and increased energy levels, contributing to a smoother labor and speedy recovery.

If your pregnancy is uncomplicated and you feel well enough, but are unable to make it to our scheduled pregnancy classes, you are welcome to join any of our beginner and open level classes up until 20 weeks of pregnancy.

20 weeks and beyond.

A clearance letter from your treating physician will be required before participating in any of our non-natal Pilates classes if you are past the 20 weeks pregnant. Please email it to us prior to your visit.

Following your 20 week mark, we encourage you to join our scheduled pregnancy classes. 

We also offer 1:1 reformer classes if you feel private sessions are more suited to your needs.
